Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary is one of the largest in the world and a favourite winter holiday spot for birds of all kinds, including flamingos, cormorants, white pelicans, purple herons, African spoonbills and great egrets. January and February mark the end of the high season, so this is your last chance to catch these beautiful creatures for another year.

Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary est l’un des plus grands sanctuaires au monde, endroit favori de retraite d’hiver pour les oiseaux de tous types, y compris les flamants roses, les cormorans, les pélicans blancs, les hérons pourpre, les spatules et les grands hérons africains. Janvier et février marquent la fin de la haute saison, profitez donc de cette dernière chance de pouvoir attraper du regard ces magnifiques créatures avant l’année suivante.

Het Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary is een van de grootste vogelreservaten ter wereld en een geliefde overwinteringsoord voor vogels van allerhande pluimage. Je ziet er flamingo’s, aalscholvers, witte pelikanen, purperreigers, Afrikaanse lepelaars en grote zilverreigers. Januari en februari vormen het einde van het hoogseizoen; je laatste kans dus dit jaar om deze vogelweelde te aanschouwen.
