GETTING AROUND
Bujumbura International Airport lies 11km outside the city centre.It’s a relatively hassle-free experience to get into town – just be sure to use an official taxi, which should cost around BIF 15,000 (€8,90).
EAT OUT

Live music is often staged in the evenings, and the resort is a popular weekend retreat for families and busy young urbanites wanting to escape the bustle of the capital.
