Dan Fogelberg

Dan Fogelberg was born in Illinois in 1951 to a musical family. His mother was a singer and his father was a band leader – the inspiration for the hit “Leader of the Band”. Fogelberg released more than 20 albums in his career, many of which went gold or platinum. He is best known for his live performances and 70s and 80s easy-rock anthems such as “Same Old Lange Syne” and “Hard to Say”. Fogelberg died of prostate cancer at his home in Maine in 2007.
Dan Fogelberg est né dans l’état de l’Illinois en 1951 dans une famille de musiciens. Sa mère était chanteuse et son père dirigeait un groupe, qui a constitué la base de son inspiration pour le hit ‘Leader of the Band.’ Fogelberg a produit plus de 20 albums au cours de sa carrière, dont un grand nombre ont été promus disques d’or ou de platine. Fogelberg obtint surtout ses grands succès sur scène, où il adore se représenter avec des hymnes rocks des années 70 et 80 comme ‘Same Old Lange Syne’ et ‘Hard to Say.’ Fogelberg est décédé d’un cancer de la prostate, chez lui dans le Maine en 2007.

Born in Missouri in 1962, Sheryl Crow started out as a back-up singer for Michael Jackson and is now a nine-time Grammy Award winner. Her 1993 debut Tuesday Night Music Club had critics and fans buzzing about her fresh pop/rock sound. Crow’s latest album, Detours, chronicles recent developments in her life, including her recovery from breast cancer and the adoption of her son, Wyatt. The album also reveals her commitment to political, social and environmental issues through tracks such as ‘Gasoline’, featuring Ben Harper, and ‘Love is Free’, which is about the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina.
Originaire du Missouri où elle est née en 1962, Sheryl Crow a démarré sa carrière comme chanteuse backup de Michael Jackson et a fini par remporter neuf Grammy Awards. Le premier album de ses débuts en 1993 Tuesday Night Music Club fut acclamé par les critiques et ses fans comme un nouveau son dans le monde de la pop/rock.
